One hundred miles of the Yellowstone river, dozens of tributaries, the Yellowstone National Park waters, numerous spring creeks and private access waters - it's more water than anyone could fish in a lifetime! If you'd like to visit our area and fish these great waters we strongly suggest you employ a guide for at least part of your time here. You'll learn the water and tactics to fish it effectively in much less time than it would take on your own. We are a Montana licensed Outfitter - John Bailey # 183
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned angler you can always learn something from a guide who spends around 100 days per year on the water. Our guides are in high demand and some of the best in the business. All are expert fly anglers, with extensive experience fishing the surrounding waters. They are great teachers with enjoyable personalities. Their goal is to help you enjoy your time on the water.

Making a reservation:
Once you are sure of the dates you would like to fish, contact us to make a reservation. We suggest contacting us as early as possible (particularly between July and September) to insure getting the exact dates you would like. We can often accommodate a last minute request, however the earlier you book the better for all parties concerned. Please inform us of any health conditions or special dietary concerns you feel we should be made aware of when booking your trip.
Deposit & Final Payment:
A deposit that covers the first full day of guiding is required upon booking multi-day trips. Final payment of the balance due must be received upon arrival. For single day trips we do require the full trip fee in advance to secure the booking ( rod fees for private access waters are seperate to the trip fee and are generally handled the day of the trip). We accept cash, check, money orders or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express) as methods of payment.
Your full deposit will be refunded, less a $30.00 handling fee, if your cancellation is received at least 30 days prior to you trip. If cancelling with less than 30 days notice your deposit will be refunded only if we manage to rebook your guide.
Typically guides recieve $50-$100 in gratuity, but we leave this choice strictly up to you based on the performance and effort of your guide.
If you have any questions concerning the above information or if you would like to learn more about arranging a guide trip to meet your needs please contact us 1-800-356-4052 or by email at email@example.com .
